During their stay at the hotel they composed three of their hit songs: “Can’t Buy Me Love”, “If I Fell”, and “I Should Have Known Better”. The band was also informed at this hotel that their song “I Want to Hold Your Hand” had reached number one on the US charts. They celebrated this news with a pillow fight.
